The hospital reporting example that we heard was one of Vertica plus InetSoft, and we have a lot of customers that use Vertica as the underlying database and analytics engine and then InetSoft as the visual and BI tool on top of it. Why do companies choose InetSoft? I think to start InetSoft provides incredibly fast query performance. Most of our customers experience 10 to 50 times faster query performance or more compared to their legacy systems.
InetSoft is able to handle queries speeds very, very quickly. It's also highly scalable handling massive workloads at high speed. Many of our customers are storing hundreds of terabytes or even petabytes of data in Vertica and running queries against that data 24x7. And since it an SQL based platform there is no need to learn new languages, or add complexity to your data stacks and even the Machine Learning algorithms that we have built out in InetSoft utilize very simple SQL calls.

And I will talk little bit more about the specific cost savings that some of our customers are experiencing in the few slides.

And I mentioned earlier InetSoft's ability to help customers reduce their total cost of ownership. And so with that I would like to transition over to our Q&A segment. It looks like we have already had a handful of questions come in, so if you don't mind I will actually jump right in. It looks like, it took DM/PM team four years to complete this journey, and this is your fifth year, ready for Advanced Analytics and AI, and you mentioned if you did this again, it would take you two years instead of four years to get to this current state. Can you describe how you would do that?
Yes, the first four years was about what we wouldn't do in this project, and we did not have the right tool to start with. And in doing that through trial and error we had the original data warehouse within the older technologies, and we had to migrate out of it, and that took time.
I believe if we started on this journey again with the same team that I have today, I think our team could finish the four years journey in two years. And in doing that you acquire the right technologies of a very high speed, performance database, whatever you need to do that's the most important thing. The second thing is, to gain support from your management team.
Without the data, it's difficult for you to move forward more quickly. One example would be, it took us a long time to get approval to get into PeopleSoft or access finance data or HR data, but if you had that prepared in advance, it will save at least a year right there. So technologies, the cultures and again support from upper management, all of that will take your journey down from four years down to two years.
