Self-Service Data Mashup
Using proprietary data mashup technology, InetSoft's self service reporting software also contains proprietary data mashup technology which allows users to "mashup" or combine previously disparate data from multiple sources into one cohesive report. Users can combine data from almost any source, including relational databases (JDBC), multidimensional databases, Hadoop/HIVE, XML, SOAP, Java beans (POJO), Microsoft Excel, flat files, OLAP cubes, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, salesforce.com, Siebel CRM, Postgress, Google Ads and Analytics, and Microsoft SharePoint. This gives users the ability to go beyond traditional analysis and ask entirely new questions of their data.
To build a data mashup, users simply select the desired tables and fields from relational databases, data warehouses, or other sources and use drag-and-drop data block technology to easily combine, manipulate, and transform previously disparate data into a new, virtual data source that pulls live data from its component sources in real-time, allowing for maximum self service to meet any business query.
