Boris Evelson, Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, and Byron Igoe, Product Manager at InetSoft, will be the presenters. Boris will speak about the challenges corporate IT faces today in making their businesses more competitive and the role of business intelligence in meeting those challenges. He lists them as two-fold: 1) speeding up the cycle between observing changes in data due either to business performance changes or changes in customer behavior and the time to decision and action, and 2) making information usable and actionable in an environment of disparate and terabyte-plus data sources.
