Aerospace Company Weekly Report - Management at an aerospace company typically wants to see a comprehensive overview of key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical updates that reflect the company's operational, financial, and strategic status. A weekly report serves as a valuable tool for keeping stakeholders informed and aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Here's a breakdown of what management at an aerospace company might want to see in their weekly report: Financial Performance: Revenue and Sales: Breakdown of revenue generated during the week, including any significant changes compared to previous weeks. Cost Analysis: Overview of major expenses, such as production costs, R&D, and overheads...

Benefits of Enterprise Mashups - We have been called the first company to try this concept in the business intelligence market, or in the data management field, which was a little surprising to learn. That was recently at a business intelligence conference we participated in. To define enterprise mashup is not very hard. Mashup typically means you are combining a couple of things together that were not really designed to be used together. One of the most famous examples is the mashup of the Google map with something else. Somebody plotted city crime rates on a Google map. Those two things, before had no connection at all, but someone just put it together...

InetSoft's unique data mashup capabilities also speed up data warehouse architecture update processes. It allows you to prototype data manipulations before committing to new, official ETL definitions and transformations. On top of this data mashup platform reside front-end BI tools that deliver reporting, OLAP, scorecards, dashboards, visualization, and ad hoc analysis. Drawbacks of Microsoft's Report Builder - Microsoft's Report Builder, like any software tool, has its drawbacks, despite being a widely used and respected reporting solution. Here are some common drawbacks associated with Report Builder: Complexity for Beginners: While Report Builder aims to provide a user-friendly interface, beginners may find it overwhelming due to the plethora of options and functionalities available. Creating complex reports may require a steep learning curve, especially for users who are not familiar with SQL queries or data modeling concepts. Limited Visualizations: While Report Builder offers a decent range of chart types and visualization options, it may not be as extensive or visually appealing as some other reporting tools. Users seeking highly interactive or customizable visualizations may find the options in Report Builder somewhat limited. Dependency on SQL Server: Report Builder is tightly integrated...

Metadata Mashup Capabilities - Using InetSoft's patent-pending Data Block technology, Style Intelligence can build and persist a metadata view of heterogeneous data. Also, users can drag and drop Data Blocks to create imaginative mashups of data sources. Organizations can use Style Intelligence to expose either static or advanced analysis or report generation capabilities to users, depending on the requirements (and abilities) of the users themselves...

Option for OLAP Cube Reporting - OLAP cubes are a confusing subject, to say the least, and while your IT department may be familiar with the concept, most of your other employees probably aren't. So then why deal with them if you don't have to? OLAP is an acronym for online analytical reporting. OLAP cubes are an older data warehousing technology for databases. They are optimized for summarizing and aggregating information. Skip All That InetSoft's Style Intelligence Technology offers users a revolutionary way to handle OLAP cube reporting; don't! Certain features, outlined below, are built into the application to allow the software to access operational data sources directly, removing any need for the user to interface with outdated OLAP technology...
